Pay off credit card debt with your home equity in Colorado

Card balances are up, minimum payments eat the month, and the house is sitting on equity. A cash-out refinance is one way to trade card interest for mortgage interest. A licensed Colorado loan officer can tell you whether it makes sense for you, in real numbers, before you decide anything.

    Is this you?

    • Carrying five figures on cards and paying mostly interest.
    • Debt-settlement ads everywhere, and you would rather not wreck your credit to escape.
    • Property tax and insurance went up and the cards absorbed the difference.
    • You have owned your Colorado home long enough to have real equity in it.

What happens after you send this

    1. 1

You send the form. Two minutes, no credit pull, no obligation.

    2. 2

A licensed Colorado loan officer calls within one business day, looks at your actual situation, and tells you what is realistic.

    3. 3

If there is a fit, you get a written plan and a short document checklist. If there is not, you get told that too, along with what would change the answer.

Sending this does not pull your credit and does not obligate you to anything. Lenddy.io, LLC, NMLS #2849217, is a licensed Colorado mortgage broker. This is not a commitment to lend; all loans are subject to credit approval and program guidelines. By submitting, you agree that a Lenddy loan officer may call or email you about your inquiry.

Where Colorado homeowners in this spot usually end up

    Consolidation, not debt settlement

Lenddy is a mortgage broker, not a debt-settlement company. A cash-out refinance pays the cards in full at closing and replaces them with one mortgage payment. Your credit is not damaged the way settlement damages it; the cards simply report as paid.

What it does to the whole picture

Moving unsecured debt onto your home lowers the monthly outflow and usually the interest, but it stretches the payoff and puts the house behind the debt. We show you both sides, including what happens if the cards fill back up.

Credit challenges are welcome on the call

If a late payment or a lower score is part of the story, say so. It changes which programs fit, not whether we take the call. Whether you are in Denver, Aurora, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Greeley or Fort Collins, it is the same conversation.

Questions people ask before they call

Should I use home equity to pay off credit card debt?

It can make sense when the refinance clearly lowers what you pay each month and you have a plan to keep the cards from refilling. It makes less sense if the new loan barely improves the payment or if you are likely to run the balances back up. The call is where the real numbers get run.

Does debt consolidation hurt your credit?

Paying cards off in full through a refinance usually helps a score over time, because utilization drops. That is different from debt settlement, which pays less than you owe and is reported as such.

Should I sell my house to pay off debt?

Selling ends the debt and the equity at the same time, and in most of Colorado replacing the house costs more than keeping it. Before selling, it is worth knowing whether a refinance solves the same problem and lets you stay.

How much can I take out?

It depends on the home's value, what you owe, the program and your credit profile. Knowing roughly what you owe, what the home is worth and what the cards total is enough to give you a realistic range on the call.
